Groups & Parties

What should particpants wear? Wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes. If you have climbing gear, feel free to bring it, but rentals are included with all group events. If you get cold easily, consider bringing a long-sleeve layer you can take off as needed. Who needs to fill out a waiver? All participants and spectators must sign a waiver to be in our facility. For those under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver. What does the event space look like? The event space itself is an elevated mezzanine located in the middle of our facility, providing participants and guests with a fantastic 360-degree view. This setup is perfect for spectating and enjoying the activities. Please note that the event space only comes with certain group packages.

What does a party look like? Parents and guests can head upstairs to store belongings and decorate while kids gear up and complete a group safety orientation. Climbing takes place on reserved auto belays and top ropes with staff support; generally bouldering is not permitted during parties. Parties are staffed at a 1:5 ratio, and belay-certified parents may assist, though belay classed and auto belay orientations are not provided during parties. The climbing session lasts about 90 minutes, followed by 30 minutes upstairs for your celebration. What food is permitted? Outside food and drinks are welcome, and we partner with Salvatores to offer 15% off party orders (details provided in your confirmation). A refrigerator is available for cakes, and we provide plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and cake servers. What decorations are permitted? Decorations are welcome, but please no helium balloons, piñatas, and confetti. Candles are allowed, but use caution since tables are covered in paper. The party space is typically ready 15 minutes before your start time, though we may still be resetting from a prior event.

Overview The evening kicks off at 8 PM with three hours of staff-facilitated climbing, including access to auto belays, top ropes, and an optional special activity to make the night even more memorable. Groups are welcome to bring food and use our upstairs event space for snacks and meals until 11 PM. For those looking to learn, belay classes may be available for an additional fee, depending on staffing. After the climbing session and some refueling, participants can settle in for the night. Lights go out around 12 AM and the partcipants depart by 8 AM the following morning. What should participants bring? For climbing, wear something comfy like sweatpants or athletic clothes that let you move easily. It might get a little chilly, so having a layer you can throw on or take off is a good idea. For sleeping, don’t forget your sleeping bag, pajamas, and whatever toiletries you need to get ready for bed! Where do participants sleep? Participants can sleep anywhere in the public areas of the gym. Most people choose to crash on our thick carpeted floors or the cushy bouldering pads—so be sure to bring a sleeping bag and anything else to make your spot comfy!
